Originating from the purest breed Aberdeen Angus, Smithfield cattle are raised on small family farms, rich in a tradition and heritage of care and animal husbandry. With generations of knowledge in fabricating the livestock, the ranchers cultivate a superior product. By the cattle feeding on high-energy grain for an additional 100 days, the ranchers make certain the cattle are producing the desired marbling and flavor effect. In addition, the tighter gene pool of the Aberdeen Angus facilitates consistency within the brand.
